I also did a couple more pictures of the fish. The new Gourami, a Sunset colouration Honey Dwarf Gourami, nicknamed Sunny, was bought as a mate for my female Golden Honey Dwarf Gourami.
The three new Guppy males, however, brought Ich with them and a two-week-long battle with the parasites ensued, with my poor tank filled with horrifically flourescent-highlighter-yellow water and most of the plants in a hastily set up side tank. The plants didn't flourish (but better than melting with the treatment). All of the fish lived through this treatment and recovered from ich, hooray!
However since then we have had a Hard Green Algae problem and it has been hard to see into the tank... cleaning is slowly working perhaps, but very hard on the hands - and one of the Zebra Danios died and got sucked into the filter, and the yellow-blue-red guppy male at the bottom has vanished. Sigh.
