What can I say? I like to make flowers, and I like to make brooches.
I do origami, and decided to try doing origami on fabric. It works using the right kinds of fabric (cotton and linen that take a crease when ironed). I did a great wet felting class at the Wellington Embroiderers Guild Solstice one year, and another year I took another wonderful class called 'Luscious Brooches' by Maria Champion-Forster. Now I can make lovely handmade wet felted flowers, and amazing brooches with beads and ruched velvet that you just have to stroke.
Now on sale - with more of my other stock - at "The Good Yarn" shop,

I made a bunch more of these gorgeous things recently. However, all the ones I have for sale at the momemt are green. I will be making more in different colours in the future, watch this space.
